A Simple Peda Recipe

- 1 can of Sweetened Condensed Milk (I used Nestle Brand)
- 2 Cups (Measuring Cups and not coffee cups) of Milk Powder (I used Kroger Brand)
- 1/2 stick of Butter (use store brand)
- Place the above 3 items in a microwable bowl
- Stick the bowl into the microwave for 5 minutes
- Every other minute keep stirring it (otherwise it will boil over)
- Take tbe bowl out and set it aside for couple of minutes
- Since you have done all the work, have your spouse/boyfriend/girlfriend/child cut it into different PEDA shapes
- You are now a certified Halwai

Very easy recipe but the pedas become very hard after few hours.
Hard! Did'nt come out that way for me. Don't know if brands make a difference. Also don't let it sit out for long.
When it was semi warm we made it into whatever shape we wanted and then put it in the refrigerator.
So you are still not a certified halwai. Keep trying. It took couple of tries for me but then it always came out perfect. :)
