Sharad Pawar receives Honorary Doctoral Degree from Lawrence Technological University, Southfield

Sharad Pawar, India's Union Minister for Agriculture, Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution recently received (May 18th, 2008) a honorary Doctoral degree in Humanities from Lawrence Technological University, Southfield.

This is great but what is puzzling is that there was no mention of this in our local print media, indian radio stations or local indian websites. Maybe we are too busy with fund raising :-)
