Yesterday I put out there a list of some of the outstanding Michigan Desis, and today I have mapped a list of "The Coolest 50 Desis of 2008" from outside Michigan.

What is a desi?. Quoting Wikipedia:

The term "Desi" refers to a person of South Asian heritage, from either India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka, or Maldives.
