Google Mapping India's Members of Parliament who pending cases

Yeserday I blogged about this at mibazaar.com, thought I should share this with our local Indian community. Here's a list of 128 MP's from India who have pending criminal cases. Some are very serious cases and some just funny. For eg: #106 on the list has 30 cases registered against him which include murder (3 cases), attempt to murder (10 cases), dacoity (6 cases). Compare this with Bollywood's Govinda (#64) who has cases registered against him which include Defamation, obscene acts and songs. Songs?

Splendor of the East 2009

On Friday, May 1, 2009 at 7:00pm, the Council of Asian Pacific Americans (CAPA) will once again bring their popular annual culture showcase “Splendor of the East 2009” to the Ford Community and Performing Arts Center at 15801 Michigan Avenue in Dearborn, MI.

As in years past, the “Splendor of the East” program will promote the unique cultural heritage of Asian Pacific cultures through spectacular musical and dance performances exhibiting the colorful cultures of our neighbors on the other side of the globe. This year’s event theme is “Coming to America – A Cultural Collage”, and will present both traditional Asian-Pacific heritages as well as American cultural influences on immigrants.

Anuja Rajendra's "BollyFit" featured on Grand Blanc's ABC12 News

Congratulations to Anuja Rajendra (BollyFit) being featured yesterday on Grand Blanc's ABC12 Morning Show. Check out the ABC News video and article here.

Quoting Anuja from the ABC News article
"BollyFit is fitness through dance for anyone who wants to be healthy inside and out, but doesn't want the grind of a treadmill," said BollyFit founder Anuja Rajendra.
